K.Flay (born Kristine Flaherty) is an American singer-songwriter known for her genre-bending alternative music, blending hip-hop, rock, and electronic sounds with complex, introspective lyrics exploring themes of love, identity, and family, stemming from her psychology studies at Stanford and personal experiences, including losing her father and recently, going suddenly deaf in her right ear, leading to her critically acclaimed major-label debut Every Where Is Some Where (2017) and her latest album MONO (2023).
