Journey
Formed in San Francisco in 1973 by former members of Santana, Journey initially started as a progressive rock group before skyrocketing to global superstardom with the 1977 arrival of powerhouse vocalist Steve Perry. This classic era, featuring keyboardist Jonathan Cain and guitarist Neal Schon, produced a relentless string of multi-platinum albums like Escape and Frontiers, along with timeless anthems such as "Don't Stop Believin'" and "Faithfully." After a hiatus and Perry's eventual departure, the band experienced a massive resurgence in 2007 when they discovered Filipino singer Arnel Pineda via YouTube, who has since led the group through nearly two decades of sold-out stadium tours. Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2017, Journey remains one of the best-selling bands of all time, with "Don't Stop Believin'" officially certified by Forbes as the "biggest song of all time."
