Johann Strauss
Johann Strauss II (1825–1899), known as "The Waltz King," was an Austrian composer who revolutionized dance music, composing over 500 waltzes, polkas, and operettas, including "The Blue Danube". Defying his father's wishes, he popularized the Viennese waltz globally, blending graceful melodies with complex rhythms to become one of the era's most successful musicians.
