Jethro Tull
Jethro Tull (1674–1741) was an influential English agricultural pioneer and writer whose innovations helped spark the British Agricultural Revolution. After abandoning a legal career due to poor health, he focused on farming and developed a horse-drawn seed drill in 1701 to sow seeds efficiently in rows. Despite initial skepticism, his 1733 book, The Horse-Hoing Husbandry, advocated methods that laid the foundation for modern farming.
