Jarina De Marco

Jarina De Marco is a Dominican-Brazilian multidisciplinar artist who blends global rhythms into a unique style she describes as "tropical folkloric pop". Born in the Dominican Republic to musician parents, she spent her childhood traveling through Brazil and Canada as a political refugee after her parents were blacklisted for performing a song against the Dominican regime. Now based in Brooklyn, De Marco is celebrated for her multilingual repertoire—singing in English, Spanish, Portuguese, and French—and her commitment to socio-political themes like empowerment and resistance. Her work has gained widespread recognition through collaborations with artists like Wyclef Jean and Anitta, and her music has been featured in major soundtracks for productions such as Euphoria, Fast & Furious 9, and Sing 2.
