Jake Worthington

Jake Worthington (born March 1, 1996) is a neotraditional country singer-songwriter from La Porte, Texas, recognized for his deep baritone voice and commitment to authentic honky-tonk sounds. He first gained national prominence in 2014 as the runner-up on Season 6 of NBC’s The Voice, where he was mentored by Blake Shelton. After years of honing his craft in the Texas independent scene, he signed with Big Loud Texas—a label co-founded by Miranda Lambert—and released his self-titled debut album in April 2023. In 2025, he followed up with his sophomore album, When I Write the Song, featuring collaborations with legends like Marty Stuart and Miranda Lambert. Deeply influenced by his grandfather's stories and the music of Merle Haggard and George Jones, Worthington has established himself as a "keeper of the honky-tonk flame," frequently touring with acts like Zach Top and Jon Pardi.
