GIVĒON

Giveon Dezmann Evans (born February 21, 1995), known mononymously as GIVĒON, is an American R&B singer and songwriter from Long Beach, California, who rose to prominence in 2020 with his distinct, rich baritone voice on Drake's "Chicago Freestyle" and his own breakout hit "Heartbreak Anniversary". Raised by a single mother and inspired by 1960s jazz and soul artists like Frank Sinatra and Barry White, he cultivated a "give" person persona while focusing on narrative-driven, emotional songwriting. After signing with Epic Records, he gained widespread acclaim for his Grammy-nominated EPs Take Time and When It's All Said and Done, later solidifying his status as a modern R&B staple through collaborations like Justin Bieber’s "Peaches" and his own studio albums, Give or Take (2022) and Beloved (2025).
