Franz Schubert
Franz Schubert (1797–1828) was a prolific Austrian composer who bridged the Classical and Romantic eras, renowned for over 600 Lieder (art songs), symphonies, and chamber music, including "Ave Maria" and the "Unfinished" Symphony. Despite dying at 31 in poverty with little recognition, his lyrical genius profoundly influenced later composers.
