Enya (Eithne Pádraigín Ní Bhraonáin), born May 17, 1961, in Gweedore, Ireland, is a world-renowned Irish singer, songwriter, and musician known for her ethereal, Celtic-inspired sound. Rising from a musical family and a brief stint with Clannad, she achieved global stardom with her 1988 album Watermark and the hit "Orinoco Flow." With over 80 million albums sold, she is Ireland’s best-selling solo artist.
