En Vogue
En Vogue is an American R&B and pop group formed in Oakland, California, in 1989 by producers Denzil Foster and Thomas McElroy. The original members were Terry Ellis, Dawn Robinson, Cindy Herron, and Maxine Jones, all of whom contributed as lead vocalists. The group achieved fame with their debut album Born to Sing (1990) and the single "Hold On", followed by the multi-platinum album Funky Divas (1992), featuring hits like "My Lovin' (You're Never Gonna Get It)" and "Free Your Mind". The group has sold over 20 million records worldwide and received several accolades, including seven MTV Video Music Awards, three Soul Train Awards, and seven Grammy nominations. Over the years, the lineup has changed, but original members Ellis and Herron have remained with the group.
