Deadbody

Deadbody is an American death metal and hardcore supergroup formed in Los Angeles in 2020 by brothers Taylor and Colin Young (known for their work in Twitching Tongues, God's Hate, and Nails), alongside guitarist Miles McIntosh and drummer Jorge Herrera. The band’s sound is a claustrophobic blend of early 90s death metal and grindcore, drawing inspiration from pioneers like Suffocation and Human Remains. After signing with Closed Casket Activities, they released their debut album, The Requiem, in 2022, followed by a split with Tribal Gaze in 2024. Their music is characterized by technical complexity, heavy grooves, and bleak lyrical themes exploring existentialism and the inevitability of death.
