Cobra Man

Cobra Man is a Los Angeles-based musical ensemble that pioneered a unique genre known as "Los Angeles Power Disco" (LAPD), blending elements of punk rock, Italo disco, and stadium anthems. Formed in 2016 by creative duo Andy Harry and Sarah Rayne, the project initially began as a way to score soundtracks for the skateboarding collective The Worble, specifically for videos like New Driveway (2017) and Toxic Planet (2018). Known for high-energy live performances and infectious hooks, the band has grown into a seven-person ensemble with a discography that includes the full-length albums New Driveway Soundtrack and Toxic Planet, as well as the 2023 EP New Paradise I. Their music has gained widespread popularity through placement in series such as Netflix's The Umbrella Academy. In 2024 and 2025, the band's future became the subject of a legal dispute between its founding members regarding trademark ownership and account access.
