Caleb Hawley
Caleb Hawley is a New York City-based singer, songwriter, and producer known for a unique blend of soulful melodies and darkly satirical lyrics. Raised in Minneapolis and influenced by a childhood surrounded by a cappella gospel music, Hawley eventually earned a degree in jazz composition from Berklee College of Music. He gained national recognition as a contestant on Season 10 of American Idol in 2011 and has since released six full-length albums, including Sad People (2019), often recording in an unconventional storage-unit studio. Over his decade-long career, Hawley has performed more than 1,000 live shows, showcasing high, androgynous vocals and charismatic stage presence that have drawn comparisons to artists like Prince and Randy Newman.
