Bullion is the stage name of Nathan Jenkins, a prolific British producer, songwriter, and DJ originally from West London and now based in Lisbon. He first gained cult recognition in 2007 with the viral mashup album Pet Sounds: In the Key of Dee, which blended The Beach Boys with the production style of J Dilla. Known for a signature "pop, not slop" aesthetic, Jenkins creates music that merges experimental electronic textures with catchy, introspective pop melodies across labels such as Young, Jagjaguwar, and his own imprint, DEEK Recordings. Beyond his solo discography—which includes acclaimed works like Loop the Loop (2016) and Affection (2024)—he is a sought-after collaborator who has produced or written for artists including Carly Rae Jepsen, Ben Howard, Nilüfer Yanya, and Westerman.
