He met his creative partner, Joey Valence, during their freshman year at Pennsylvania State University in 2018, where they bonded over a shared love for vintage hip-hop and internet culture. Known for his charismatic flow and high-energy delivery, Brae became a viral sensation on TikTok through hits like "Punk Tactics," which channeled the spirit of the Beastie Boys for a new generation. Despite the duo's rapid ascent to major stages like Reading & Leeds and a record deal with RCA Records, Brae has remained committed to their independent, DIY roots, often recording vocals in home-studio settings.
