
Band of Skulls
Band of Skulls is an English indie/alternative rock trio from Southampton, known for their bluesy, garage-rock sound with dual male/female vocals, formed by Russell Marsden (guitar/vocals), Emma Richardson (bass/vocals), and Matt Hayward (drums) in 2004; after meeting in college, they gained traction with their 2009 debut Baby Darling Doll Face Honey, followed by successful albums like Sweet Sour and Himalayan, establishing a strong presence in film/TV soundtracks and live shows before Hayward's departure in 2016/2017, with Marsden continuing the project.
