Babehoven

Babehoven is an American indie folk-rock duo based in Hudson, New York, fronted by singer-songwriter Maya Bon and producer/musician Ryan Albert. Founded by Bon in 2017 while in college, the project evolved from a solo endeavor into a collaborative duo known for intimate songwriting, blending elements of folk, dream pop, and occasional country. Following a prolific series of EPs, including Demonstrating Visible Differences of Height (2020), the duo released their debut full-length album, Light Moving Time, in 2022, followed by the critically praised Water's Here in You in 2024 via Double Double Whammy. Their music is characterized by emotionally honest lyrics, often exploring themes of memory, home, and interpersonal connection.
