Anna German
Anna German (1936-1982) was a beloved Polish-Soviet singer of German descent, known as the "White Angel of Polish Song," famous for her powerful voice, multilingual performances (Polish, Russian, English, Italian, Spanish, Latin), and hits like "Tańczące Eurydyki" and "Hope," despite a tragic life marked by her father's execution during Stalin's purges and a severe 1967 car accident in Italy, from which she miraculously recovered to continue her career before succumbing to cancer in 1982.
