Aníbal Zola
Aníbal Zola is a Portuguese musician, songwriter, and double bassist based in Porto, known for a global musical style that blends Jazz—his academic and artistic foundation—with a wide array of influences including Bossa Nova, Samba, Argentine Tango, and Cuban Bolero. Since 2008, he has used the Portuguese language as his primary creative partner, delivering vocals that transition from the sweetness of Bossa Nova to the emotional intensity of Fado. His career highlights include being selected from over a thousand applicants to perform at the SIM São Paulo international festival in 2020 and celebrating a decade of songwriting in 2025 under his current pseudonym, having previously performed as "Pato Sentido". As of 2026, he remains active in the Portuguese music scene, recently releasing his "Cegada Digital" video series which features his reinterpretations of traditional Fado and worker songs.
