Aloe Blacc

Aloe Blacc (born Egbert Nathaniel Dawkins III on January 7, 1979) is an American singer, rapper, and songwriter known for hits like "I Need a Dollar" and "The Man," and for co-writing and performing on Avicii's "Wake Me Up". Starting in hip-hop as a teen and forming the duo Emanon with producer Exile, Blacc gained global fame with his soulful sound, blending R&B, soul, and folk, while also becoming a philanthropist and entrepreneur, co-founding Major Inc., a biotech firm.
