Alice Cooper
Alice Cooper, born Vincent Damon Furnier (Feb 4, 1948), is the "Godfather of Shock Rock," known for his horror-themed theatrics and makeup, blending garage rock with macabre stage shows featuring props like guillotines and dolls to shock audiences. Starting as a high school band in Phoenix, they evolved from the Earwigs to the Alice Cooper Group, gaining fame in the early 70s with hits like "School's Out," before Furnier adopted the name for his successful solo career, later achieving sobriety and becoming a born-again Christian.
