Al Hazan

Albert "Al" Hazan (November 7, 1934 – March 2, 2019) was a prolific American pop-rock singer, songwriter, and producer based in Los Angeles, often referred to as the "Mystery Music Man of the Sixties" for his use of numerous aliases, including B. Bumble, Ali Hassan, and Al Anthony. Starting his career as a teenage pianist, he produced over 50 records and wrote over 80 songs, featuring on major labels like Philles and Rendezvous, and played a key role as the pianist on the 1962 hit "Nut Rocker". Beyond music, Hazan was a licensed real estate broker and professional photographer who left the music industry in 1965 to later earn a Ph.D. in psychology in 1990, subsequently becoming a licensed psychotherapist honored by President Reagan for his work with crime victims. His music found renewed popularity in the 2010s, with songs featured in Stranger Things and WandaVision.
