Aerosmith

Formed in Boston in 1970, Aerosmith is the best-selling American hard rock band of all time, having sold over 150 million records worldwide. Often called the "Bad Boys from Boston," the classic lineup consists of Steven Tyler, Joe Perry, Tom Hamilton, Joey Kramer, and Brad Whitford. After achieving massive stardom in the 1970s with hits like "Dream On" and "Walk This Way," the band overcame severe drug addiction and internal strife to stage one of the most successful comebacks in rock history during the late 1980s. This second wave of success brought multi-platinum albums like Permanent Vacation and Pump, alongside four Grammy Awards and their first number-one single, "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing." Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001, the band's influential 50-year career effectively reached its conclusion in August 2024, when they officially retired from touring following a permanent vocal injury suffered by Steven Tyler.
