
Marlon Wayans
Marlon Lamont Wayans is an American actor, comedian, writer, and producer who first rose to prominence as part of the influential Wayans family on the groundbreaking sketch comedy series In Living Color. Born on July 23, 1972, in New York City and the youngest of ten siblings, he attended the Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts before studying film at Howard University. Wayans is widely recognized for his frequent collaborations with his brother Shawn, including co-creating the WB sitcom The Wayans Bros. and starring in cult comedy hits like White Chicks and the first two installments of the Scary Movie franchise. While primarily known for his over-the-top physical comedy and parodies such as A Haunted House, he has also received critical acclaim for dramatic performances in Darren Aronofsky’s Requiem for a Dream and the Aretha Franklin biopic Respect. In addition to his film work, he has maintained a successful stand-up career with multiple Netflix specials and starred in his own self-titled NBC sitcom, Marlon.
