Connie Britton (born Constance Womack, March 6, 1967) is an acclaimed American actress known for powerful roles in Friday Night Lights, Nashville, and American Horror Story, earning Emmy and Golden Globe nominations; she studied Asian studies at Dartmouth College, trained in NYC theater, and is also a producer, UN Goodwill Ambassador, and advocate, who adopted a son from Ethiopia.
