Born on April 3, 1982, in Vancouver, Canadian-American actress and former model Cobie Smulders rose to fame as Robin Scherbatsky on How I Met Your Mother (2005–2014) and gained further recognition as S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Maria Hill in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Known for her versatile TV and film roles, she is married to actor Taran Killam.
